As the new school year begins, students start to under take the clubs that Banneker offers.

Aside from academics, students are finding different extra curricular activities to join. Banneker presents sports as well as many clubs for everyone to take part in.

Some clubs that Banneker has are Orchestra, Chess, Drama, French, Dance, Embroidery, Poetry, and so many more.

“I like French club because it allows me to learn about new cultures,” said senior Chelsea Lazo. “People should join because I love seeing the new faces and all people coming in open minded.”

Senior Viviana Guzman, a member of the Latinx Club, said the group “embraces the Hispanic culture” and “you can interact with new people, and learn different dances.”
